Our founder’s message

Al-Qasas Contracting Company embarked on its journey during one of the most important stations in the modern history of Iraq. In 2005 the company resumed its business.

Over the past 17 years, the stories have reformulated the basics of real estate development, to become a reference and an example for the rest of the companies around the country, guided by the wise vision of the company’s board of directors, which has always made unremitting efforts to advance the wheel of reconstruction when we face new challenges.

The confidence that our shareholders place in us was and still is the force that pushes us forward to achieve our goals, as they provided us with all support and assistance and participated in our journey in shaping the skyline of our cities, constructing the largest shopping centers in Iraq and establishing high-level government facilities, and they were by our side in our expansion plans towards new global facilities.

Thanks to our shareholders, we had the opportunity to play a fundamental role in the wonderful journey of transformation that Iraq is going through to become a world-renowned center, and an exceptional country by all standards in one of the best countries in the world.
Today, and across Iraq, the models for developing stories are undergoing a drastic change, while the economic and innovation cycles are shrinking, and therefore companies that do not respond to such changes and keep pace with them, will be exposed to severe risks that may have negative consequences for the company’s opportunities in the long run.
We consider the change we are witnessing around us as a promising opportunity to foresee a new future for our company, by taking advantage of the huge potential offered by Iraq as one of the world’s leading centers in the fields of business, entertainment and fashion, in addition to employing the opportunities offered by the rapidly growing international markets. We will continue to implement our strategy to transform our high-growth companies into independent profit making facilities, and we will move forward with our plans to build smart cities of the future.
We are currently working on refining our strategy through which we aspire to become one of the most valuable and most innovative companies in Iraq and a place of respect for major companies, and we aspire to become a superior company in creating tangible added value for our shareholders, stakeholders and the economy as a whole.
